Nov 2007 November's Featured Research Site contains a
list of Cemetery
Sites where genealogists can look for burials of their kinfolk.
Cemetery Listings give good information about the deceased including
dates of birth and death plus, in many cases, marriage information and
military affiliations. Scroll down the Haskell TXGenWeb

Oct 2007 The 1930 Census is the Featured Research
Site for October.
This is the most recent census available to the public. Photos
from the USDA's Historic Photos site are used to show a 1930s
event in Haskell County when a family came into town in their
covered wagon looking for work in the cotton fields. Thanks to
Suzie Henderson for informing us of these photos.

Feb 2007 Two more biographical sketches are online.
One is of
Olive "Ollie" Montgomery and the other is about William Welch
Ollie Montgomery's father. Both of these family sketches are

Feb 2007 New family photo pages plus a new
biographical sketch with

to Ed Williams who scanned all of the class pages which

Courthouse Experiences where people from across the United
States have given their experiences (good or bad) when doing
genealogy research at various county courthouses.

The 1952 edition of Haskell High School's "The Chieftain"
Yearbook is now online. Ed Williams scanned all of the
class pages, including Junior High, and provided them to
the Haskell TxGenWeb Page.

Thanks to Ed Williams who has scanned the pages in the 1950
"Chieftain" Yearbook for Haskell High School, we now have
those pages online. All of the student pictures, the class officers,
